In 1943, the Ministry of Culture and Science of The Enlightened Confederacy initiated an experiment to test Möbius-Higgs' theory of Space-Time Flows. However, something went terribly wrong: an explosion occurred in one of the laboratory's particle accelerators, creating a portal between our world and countless other dimensions known as the Breach.
The Breach is an intense sci-fi and horror game, set in a dystopian retro-future, that unfolds at a relentless pace.
Drawing inspiration from the iconic science fiction novels of the 1970s, this game will transport you through time and space, revealing a multitude of parallel worlds referred to as Paradoxes. As a Watcher, your role is to gather data and information, delving into these infinite universes in search of hidden secrets, all while attempting to survive and make it back to the Bastion in one piece... if that's even possible.
The Breach is a 128-page b/w digest-sized (148mmx216mm) softcover science fiction roleplaying game by Matteo Sciutteri, and runs on the Breathless system by Fari RPGs.
SIMPLE MECHANICS
In the Breathless System, you need five types of dice: d4, d6, d8, d10 and d12, each repesenting the physical, mental and material resources available to the characters. But surviving on missions is challenging, and each time a die is used, its size is reduced by one.
The Breach allows you to play in an Old-School style: the players must rely, above all, on their intuition and ability to read the game and determine the best approach to face its challenges.
The characters can take four different approaches: Aware, Mighty, Quick, and Sneaky. Each approach describes a specific course of action, which allows the player to determine how the watcher faces a dangerous obstacle. And that’s when a Reaction Roll is needed.
Shipment Processing Time
All orders, if the item was in-stock at the time of purchase, are processed within 2 business days of the order being placed, or, if the item was out of stock at the time of purchase, within 2 business days of the product arriving in store.
Preorders are processed in a timeframe that allows for the product to arrive on or after the release date.
If an item is 'Order-in', it can vary how long this item takes to come into stock from our suppliers. If in stock at our supplier, it is likely to be 2-3 weeks to arrive in store. Other times, items may be out of stock at suppliers, and while we do our best to ensure our website it up to date, we have thousands of products on our site, and technology hasn't quite caught up for us to pull information from all our suppliers and the availability of each and every product, and have this update regularly. If you require a product ETA, please contact us at the time you place your order.
Orders are not shipped or delivered on weekends or public holidays.
If we are experiencing a high volume of orders, shipments may be delayed by a few days. Please allow additional days in transit for delivery. If there will be a significant delay in shipment of your order, we will contact you via email or telephone.
Shipping Rates & Delivery Estimates
Orders (including PO Boxes and Parcel Lockers) will be shipped via our shipping client Shippit, which includes courier partners such as Couriers Please, Aramex, and AusPost Parcel Post at a flat rate of $15 per order. Please note parcels have authority to leave, unless you request otherwise.
If shipped via Standard Parcel Post, it is up to the discretion of the individual courier whether your parcel is left at your residence or taken to the nearest depot or post office. We do not have any control of a parcel once it has been picked up from our store(s).
Express Post orders are shipped via the Aus Post Express service and are charged at a $28 flat rate. Please note that not all post codes are covered by this service.
Delivery delays can occasionally occur, especially during peak periods such as Black Friday and Christmas, or by weather events.
